ABOUT THIS SITE

Elections, polls, and other decision-making activities that require a precise tally from the OpenSolaris Community or one of its Community Groups are run electronically from this site.

On this site, you can:

• View poll results
• Monitor open polls and their progress
• Vote in open polls and elections

NEW FOR THE 2010 ELECTION

• No ssh key is required to vote.
• Voting is done via a web interface (click on "Vote in open polls and elections" above).
• Grant data is now stored in http://auth.opensolaris.org. See instructions below in the "GRANT DATA" section that explain how to review this data.
• Automated individual reminders will NOT be sent during the voting period so mark your calendar and vote before the deadline. See the OGB election page for details.

GRANT DATA

Community Groups grant Contributor and Core Contributor status to individuals. Only Core Contributors can vote in community elections. To check your grants, see the instructions in the Governance Actions section of the opensolaris.org site user guide.
